"Training days allow our team to stay well-informed of latest product developments and therefore best advise our fabricator customers."
Long-term SIEGENIA distributor, Carl F Groupco, visited their Coventry office to undertake product training
Three members of staff from one of SIEGENIA’s largest and longest-serving distribution partners, Carl F Groupco, took part in valuable refresher and new product training in March.
Led by SIEGENIA’s Technical Manager, Joe Ward, and assisted by members of technical and sales staff, Carl F Groupco management and sales colleagues were given a crash course on the German hardware company’s TITAN tilt and turn window and HS PORTAL lift and slide door gearings as well as on KFV multipoint locks via a mix of classroom presentations and practical demonstrations and exercises. It was also a great opportunity for members of staff from both companies to catch up and further strengthen relationships.
Commenting on the training day, John King Sales Director at Carl F Groupco, said, “As an independent hardware distributor, we rely on maintaining positive working relationships with our manufacturer partners. Team training days such as those we recently took part in at SIEGENIA allow our team to stay well-informed of latest product developments and therefore best advise our fabricator customers.”
This training is part of a wider programme that SIEGENIA UK has been rolling out to its distributors over the last couple of years, with approaching 100 hours’ worth of sessions having already taken place. The training days have been introduced in order to keep up strong customer service levels between SIEGENIA, their partners and ultimately their fabricator customers.
SIEGENIA’s Technical Manager, Joe Ward, said, “Product knowledge is key to a successful partnership. With constant innovation at SIEGENIA it is important to provide technical updates and training to our partners to implement new and improved solutions to their customers. With a wide product range suited to the timber, PVC and aluminium sector these training sessions give both our internal team and distributors confidence to attack all areas of the market.”
Training opportunities will continue to be offered to the company’s main partners at least annually in order that skill and knowledge levels remain current and at the expected high level, new product innovations are communicated and so that partners feel confident selling the SIEGENIA and KFV ranges, which can sometimes be considered a niche product.
