As well as the radio keys, supplied as standard, further access control systems can be integrated with the multitronic 881 electronic door lock. The range has been compiled to provide access control to meet consumers’ increased need to convenience.
The radio fingerprint scanner, the radio keypad and the radio transponder offer extremely convenient keyless operation of the door lock, while meeting the very highest security standards – making bulky bunches of keys a thing of the past.
All of the radio access control options use 2-channel technology to allow integration, not only with the multitronic 881 door lock, but also another opening, for example electronic garage door.
Security Specification: All of the radio access control systems in the FUHR range offer highly secure encryption. On use, an opening pulse is generated by rolling-code technology which prevents replay attacks. Forgery, sabotage and tamperproof to ensure that data collected is immediately electronically converted to a different form.
Material Specification: High-grade, slim stainless steel cover for a high-end finish. Electronic components are all sealed to protect against weather and tampering.
Installation: All of the radio access control units are very compact allowing installation directly into the door leaf or frame. They are supplied ready to plug into the power supply of the motorised drive mechanism and are programed to work with the multitronic multi-functional control unit. The solution provided by SmartSecure is easy to install and comprehensive assistance is available throughout the process. The lock requires just four additional routings compared to a standard multipoint lock, this allows the transformer and cabling to be fully concealed into the frame. If any assistance is needed, we are on hand to support – as with all our hardware products, comprehensive service and technical assistance is readily available.
The lock is designed to be fail secure from the outside and fail safe from the inside. In the event of a power failure you can always get into the building with a mechanical key and always leave safely using a lever handle – this provides the best of both worlds.
The control unit on the 881 can be reset. Lost fobs will no longer work and replacement fobs can be programmed onto the control unit. This is a major advancement over the traditional key.
New or replacement user fobs can be ordered from us at any time.
You will always be able to get into your home with your mechanical override key and, once you are in, you can re-program the keypad to a new code.
Yes the rolling code radio technology that is central to SmartSecure has long been adopted by car manufacturers and WLAN ‘Smart’ technology, that has been used in homes for many years, is a tried and tested solution.
It is not difficult at all to set this up, despite the advanced nature of the solution it is a simple process. We provide installation manuals for all SmartSecure’s access control solutions backed by technical support if required. A family of four people can be programmed into the scanner within around just 5 - 10 minutes.
The FUHR multitronic range offers a comprehensive range of access control options including biometric, radio controlled and smart phone systems. However, we understand that not every application will require the same solution. The multi-functional control unit is designed to allow for almost any access control system to be fitted, we have not yet found one that is not compatible.
