CFGLock+ Cable Restrictor

  • Key Locking as Standard. Push button version available to order
  • 150mm cable length. Longer lengths available to order
  • CFGLock+ should be fitted to allow an opening no greater than 100mm
  • Supplied with key and fitting screws
  • Spare keys available to order

With health and safety at the forefront of its development, the CFGLock+ window cable restrictor is designed to reduce the risk of falling out of windows. When engaged, the CFGLockrestricts how far the window can be opened. 

Windows are often fitted in convenient to reach locations, which is ideal for ease of use. However, additional safety steps should be taken to ensure users remain safe during operation and whilst the window is open. 

The CFGLock+ window cable restrictor is an economic solution, perfect for new windows and also for retro fitting for existing installations. Fitting is very quick and simple with full instructions supplied with the product along with screws.

Adding security to windows using a cable restrictor doesn’t stop in the home, protecting windows where the users may not be familiar with their operation, or when users may be particularly vulnerable are also situations where the CFGLock+ cable restrictor should be considered. Such as, hospitals, care homes, hotels, schools and nurseries.

Testing & Accreditation

The CFGLockWindow Cable Restrictor has been tested to the following criteria

  • BS EN 13126-5:2011 Building hardware. Hardware for windows and door height windows. Requirements and test methods. Devices that restrict the opening of windows and door height windows.
  • BS EN 14351-1:2006+A1:2010 Windows and doors. Product standard, performance characteristics. Windows and external pedestrian door sets without resistance to fire and/or smoke leakage characteristics Clause 4.8. Load bearing capacity of Safety devices.
  • Declaration of Conformity for CE Marking is available upon request.

Full fitting instructions are supplied with the CFGLock+ Window Cable Restrictor. Please ensure the restrictor is fitted with no greater than 100mm opening.
