MACO Z-TA Comfort Electronic Door Lock

The MACO Z-TA Comfort is an adaptation of the Z-TA automatic door lock. Simply adding the MACO OpenDoor access control system, along with a motor to the Z-TA 3 latch door lock created the MACO Z-TA "Comfort".

The home owner will no longer need a key to gain access. The locking points engage and the door is automatically locked when closed, including the central deadbolt - all without needing the key. This automatic locking mechanism is triggered by a magnet, and there is no need to manually lock the door.

How the door lock works

  1. The latches engage with the strikers. This evenly distributes the gasket compression
  2. A magnet positioned in the latchplate triggers the locking mechanism
  3. The hook locking modules and deadbolt then engage fully and automatically. This fully locks and secures the door.
  4. Additional security can be added by turning the key 360º. The lock mechanism is then blocked and the handle can no longer be operated
  5. To unlock the door from the outside, use the chosen openDoor access control
  6. To unlock the door from the inside, turn the key (is handle lock is applied) and press the handle

The Z-TA can be combined with an optional motor to produce the Z-TA Comfort lock. Together with state of the art access control systems as below:

openDoor - Keyless access control
