The new generation PAS 24:2011 handle from Hoppe have been designed to suit multipoint locks with 92mm cylinder centres. They are now supplied with the ""Quick-Fit"" technology to speed up the fitting process as well as add to the handle security.

This lever/lever handle set is for use with lift lever operated multipoint locking mechanisms such as the Secured by Design FUHR Type 3 (door sets must be tested as a whole before Secured by Design can be accredited).

The handle is available with fixed length spindles to suit 44mm and 70mm door thicknesses with 58mm and 62mm to follow, lead time for the sizes may vary so please check with your Carl F Groupco contact before ordering.

The non-croppable fixing bolts have been designed to increase the strength of the handle to meet the requirements PAS 24 and TS007.

The handle is currently available in White, Black, Gold and Silver with Chrome and Resista Brass to be available soon.

What makes this handle PAS 24?

The latest version of the security handle from Hoppe has evolved.
External backplates manufactured from solid aluminium extrusion, thus providing added strength and attack resistance.
Sliding cylinder cover to protect against attack and adjustable to suit various cylinder lengths.
M6 hardened steel screws for added strength
Same fixing positions as Hoppe products making the handle suitable for retrofitting, no additional routing or preparation is required and no need to fit additional cylinder protection.
Third party independently tested to meet PAS 24 requirements.
The new handle is supplied as ""Quick Fit"" allowing the levers to be fitted in less than 10 seconds. Backplates and levers are packed separately in the same box allowing the backplates to be fitted during fabrication while keeping the levers safe from damage during transit to site. The levers only need removing from their original packaging just before they are fitted to the door - with no tools required.

The Hoppe PAS 24:2011 Tokyo handle set resists in excess of the 3 minute attack as carried out during PAS 24 testing on the handles and protect the cylinder against snapping and core extraction.

How do I achieve TS 007 on my doors?

TS 007 is a security standard relating to the door handle and cylinder combination used on a door. To achieve TS 007 status, the combination used must total 3 stars.

A cylinder can achieve either 1 or 3 star classification, where as a door handle can only ever achieve 2 stars.

Therefore, it is possible to achieve 3 star accreditation by combining a 1 star cylinder with a 2 star door handle. Or, just using a 3 star cylinder alongside an unaccredited door handle. See our simple diagram below.

Achieving TS007 is vital in order to pass any door to PAS 24 or achieve Secured by Design.
