12" Post Port Letterplate/Letterbox

The 12” Post Port Letterplate has been ergonomically designed with a curved edge to improve user comfort. The extruded aluminium flap achieves 180º opening which eliminates excessive leverage on the pivots to give the letterplate greater durability and increased functionality.

The letterplate is available in two sizes, to suit door thicknesses 20 – 40mm (Size 1) and also to suit door thicknesses 40 – 80mm (Size 2)

Sleeve aperture: 285mm x 57mm

Testing:

• Water Tightness Test: BS 13724:2013.
  • Results: No leakage at 200 PA Air Pressure or below in accordance with BS 5368-3 1978 spray method 2 water spray. 
• Flap Durability Tests: In accordance with Certificate TS32 to performance in durability and corrosion.
• Flap Opening Test: 15,000 exceeded. Resisted forces of between 80-100 Newtons after cycling.
• Durability Test: Exposed to neutral salt spray BS EN1670. No corrosion of flap which worked with limits of force specified in test.
